In an area of south-west France, tucked away on the banks of the beautiful river Lot on the outskirts of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, is Le Moulin de Madame. This 13th century mill is being comprehensively restored to provide two high quality apartments. In addition, nine townhouses are being constructed along the river adjacent to the moulin. The entire development will be contained within a secure gated complex.

Le Moulin de Madame development is due to be completed in the spring of 2011. The old mill is being rebuilt and sympathetically refurbished to the highest standard, converting the space into two large apartments. The apartments are currently designed to have a large living area, three bedrooms and two bathrooms but can be changed internally to reflect an owner's own specification. In addition, each apartment will also have its own berth for a boat in the Mill Pool and two designated parking spaces in the grounds of the complex.

Within the grounds of the mill a total of nine two- and three-bedroom townhouses are being built along the river. Each house has two terraces and, in addition, a small garden or decking area looking directly over the serene and unspoilt river. There will also be one parking space per house in the grounds of the complex.

The quality of build and the materials being used are of the highest quality and all the properties will be fitted with modern energy-efficient appliances. All owners will have access to a remotely viewable CCTV system to provide peace of mind within this secure community. While all properties will be sold with good quality bathrooms and kitchens, we are happy to cater to individual owners' requests as long as these fall into our allocated budget.

We are already aware some owners will be looking to rent their properties in the future and we are happy to help fully furnish your property to a high standard for an additional fee.
